Another World Record for Sandeep Lamichhane!

Kathmandu – Nepal’s star leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has created a new world record in One Day International (ODI) cricket.

 

Sandeep achieved the milestone during today’s ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 match against Scotland national cricket team, where he claimed three wickets. With this performance, he completed 150 ODI wickets in just 73 matches, breaking the previous world record held by Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc.

 

Starc had reached the milestone in 77 matches. With this achievement, Sandeep has become the fastest bowler in ODI history to take 150 wickets.

 

Earlier, Sandeep had also set the world record for becoming the fastest player to reach 100 ODI wickets.
