Kathmandu – Nepal was defeated by the UAE by 43 runs in the Bowl League of the Hong Kong Sixes.
The match took place this morning, marking the end of Nepal’s campaign in the tournament.
Batting first, UAE set a target of 130 runs for Nepal. In reply, Nepal managed to score only 86 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted six overs. Mohammad Adil Alam scored 32 runs, while Sandeep Jora contributed 31.
Earlier, UAE had scored 129 runs for the loss of five wickets. Nepal had reached the Bowl League after losing to Afghanistan and South Africa in the group stage.
In the Bowl League, Nepal was defeated by Sri Lanka yesterday but had registered a 92-run victory against India.
