Kathmandu — American cricketer Aaron Jones has been suspended for allegedly violating the anti-corruption rules of Cricket West Indies and the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Jones has been charged with five anti-corruption offenses. The main charges are related to the 2023/24 BIM 10 tournament, which falls under the jurisdiction of Cricket West Indies. Two additional charges are related to international matches and fall under the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Code.
In a statement released by the ICC, it was said that the investigation is still ongoing and that other individuals may also be charged in connection with the case.
