India loses to Australia by 3 wickets

Kathmandu –  Australia has defeated India in the ongoing Women’s World Cup.

 

In the match held last night, Australia chased down a massive target of 331 runs set by India, winning by 3 wickets. Australia reached the target in 49 overs, losing 7 wickets along the way.

 

Captain Alyssa Healy played a match-winning knock, scoring a superb 142 runs. Earlier, batting first, India were bowled out for 330 runs in 48.5 overs. For India, Smriti Mandhana scored 80, while Pratika Rawal contributed 75 runs.

 

With this win, Australia has climbed to the top of the table with 7 points from 4 matches.

 

This was India’s second loss in 4 matches. India currently sits in third place with 4 points.
