Sudurpashchim sets a target of 170 runs for Chitwan

Kathmandu – Sudurpashchim Royals have set a target of 170 runs for Chitwan Rhinos.

 

Batting first after losing the toss, Sudurpashchim scored 169 runs for the loss of four wickets. For Sudurpashchim, Chris Lynn top-scored with 75 runs before retiring out, while Vinod Bhandari scored 21 and Puneet Mehra was out for 13.

 

Harmit Singh and Ishan Pandey returned to the pavilion with one run each. Arif Sheikh and captain Dipendra Singh Airee remained unbeaten on 24 runs each.

 

For Chitwan, Saif Zaib took two wickets, while Ranjit Kumar and George Scrimshaw took one wicket each. Sudurpashchim are at the top of the table with 10 points. Chitwan, with four points from five matches, are in a must-win situation to keep their playoff hopes alive.
