T20 World Cup Qualifier: Nepal vs Japan Match Today

Kathmandu: In the ICC T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia Pacific Qualifier, the match between Nepal and Japan is taking place today.

Both Nepal and Japan have already secured their spots in the Super Six stage with one game remaining. In Thursday’s Group B match, Japan stunned Kuwait with a 5-wicket win, allowing both Japan and Nepal to advance to the next round a game early. Kuwait, having suffered back-to-back defeats, is now out of the tournament. In their first match, Kuwait had lost to Nepal by 58 runs.

Today’s match between Nepal and Japan will determine the winner and runner-up of Group B. Both teams have 2 points each, but Nepal currently leads the group due to a superior net run rate.
