Surkhet – In the ongoing U–16 National Cricket Tournament at the Birendranagar Stadium in Surkhet, Lumbini Province’s Raunak Shrivastav delivered a sensational performance by scoring a historic double century.
Facing Gandaki Province, Shrivastav smashed 217 runs off just 117 balls, including 16 fours and 16 sixes. His explosive innings set the tone for Lumbini’s dominant total.
Powered by his batting heroics, Lumbini posted a massive total of 403 runs in 45.4 overs, losing all their wickets. This is among the highest team totals ever recorded in the history of the U–16 National Cricket Tournament.
Raunak Shrivastav’s remarkable innings not only propelled his team to a commanding position but also underscored the potential of Nepal’s emerging cricket talent. His performance is expected to attract significant attention in the coming matches.
