Century by Raunak Against Bhutan

Kathmandu – Nepali batsman Raunak Srivastava has scored a century in the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup cricket tournament.

In the ongoing match against Bhutan, being held in Malaysia, Raunak completed his century in 95 balls.

Batting first against Bhutan, Nepal had scored 255 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 39 overs at the time of reporting. Sivans Bajgain also scored a half-century for Nepal.

Raunak shared a 91-run partnership with Sivans, followed by a 72-run stand with Sugam Budhathoki, who was dismissed after scoring 38 runs. He was later involved in a 78-run partnership with Joy Thapa, who was still at the crease.

Previously, Nepal’s young batter Prashiddha Joshi had also scored a century against Indonesia.
