Four Teams to Compete in NPL Today

Kathmandu – Two matches are scheduled to take place today in the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) T20 cricket tournament. In the first match, Sudurpaschim Royals will face Karnali Yaks, while the second match will see Chitwan Rhinos take on Pokhara Avengers.

The match between Sudurpaschim and Karnali will begin at 12:30 PM, while the game between Chitwan and Pokhara is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM. Both matches will be played at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

In the ongoing NPL, Karnali have played three matches, winning two and losing one. After securing two consecutive victories, they suffered a defeat against Kathmandu Gorkhas in their most recent match.

Karnali are aiming to secure their third victory by defeating Sudurpaschim today. Meanwhile, Sudurpaschim are looking for their second consecutive win. They have played four matches so far, winning two and losing two. Sudurpaschim will be hoping to defeat Karnali and improve their position in the points table.

In today’s second match, Pokhara Avengers will be looking for their first victory of the tournament. They have played three matches and lost all three. Led by Kushal Bhurtel, Pokhara will aim to open their winning account by defeating Chitwan.

On the other hand, Chitwan are targeting a victory against struggling Pokhara to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the playoffs. Chitwan have played four matches, winning two, losing one and sharing points in one match due to rain.

A total of eight teams are competing in the ongoing edition of the Nepal Premier League.
