Kathmandu – Nepal will take on the Netherlands today in their fourth and final match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-nation ODI series.
The match is set to be held at the Forfarhill Cricket Ground in Dundee, Scotland, and will begin at 3:45 PM Nepali time. Nepal, having won two of its three matches in the series, will be aiming for a third victory. The team secured earlier wins against Scotland by one wicket and the Netherlands by five wickets, but narrowly lost their most recent match to Scotland by just two runs.
Meanwhile, the Netherlands are still in pursuit of their first win in the series, having suffered a 44-run defeat at the hands of Scotland. Despite the setback, the Netherlands currently sit in second position in the League 2 standings with 26 points from 22 matches. Nepal, with 10 points from 15 matches, is in seventh position.
League 2 features eight participating teams and will continue until 2027. The top four teams at the end of the league will secure direct qualification to the ICC Cricket World Cup Global Qualifier, while the remaining four teams will enter the Qualifier Play-offs.
