ACC Men’s U-16 East Zone Cup Cricket Tournament: Nepal Bowls Out Japan for 80 Runs

Kathmandu – In their second match of the ACC Men’s U-16 East Zone Cricket Tournament, Nepal bowled out Japan for just 80 runs.

The match, held at the Tunku Ja’afar Oval in Malaysia, saw left-arm spinner Shubham Khanal shine with five wickets, helping Nepal restrict Japan to a low total.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Japan were all out for 80 runs in 34.3 overs. For Japan, captain Charlie Harahinz top-scored with 36 runs, while Gabi Harahinz contributed 13. None of the other batters managed to reach double figures.

For Nepal, Shubham Khanal took 5 wickets, Abhay Yadav claimed 2, and Sushil Rawal and Bipin Prasad Sharma took one wicket each.

Earlier, Nepal had defeated Singapore by six wickets in their first match. Chasing a target of 81 runs, Nepal has now started their innings in response.
