Nepal to Play Historic T20 Series Against West Indies

Kathmandu – Nepal is set to play a historic T20 International series against the West Indies, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced through a press release on Thursday.

This will mark the first-ever T20 series between Nepal and the two-time T20 World Cup champions, West Indies.

The series is scheduled to take place in Sharjah, UAE, in September. CAN had already included a T20I series against a Test-playing nation in its annual calendar for September.

This series is considered not only historic for Nepali cricket but also a key part of Nepal’s preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier, which will be held in October in Oman, a neighboring country of the UAE.

Previously, in the last year, the West Indies A team had toured Nepal and played a T20 series.
