NPL: Two Matches on Monday

Kathmandu – On the seventh day of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), no matches have been scheduled for today, Sunday. The Cricket Association of Nepal had already designated today as a rest day in the previously published fixtures.

 

Tomorrow, Monday, two matches will be played at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The first match, starting at 11:45 AM, will feature Janakpur Bolts vs. Biratnagar Kings. Similarly, the second match will be held at 4:00 PM between Karnali Yaks and Sudurpashchim Royals.

 

According to the current points table, Sudurpashchim Royals and Biratnagar Kings, each having played two matches, are in the first and second positions with four points each. Kathmandu Gurkhas, who have played three matches, are in third place with two points. Pokhara, having played two matches and lost both, are at the bottom.

 

Starting from Mangsir 1, the NPL features eight franchise teams: Janakpur Bolts, Sudurpashchim Royals, Karnali Yaks, Pokhara Avengers, Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Gurkhas, and Lumbini Lions. The final will be held on Mangsir 27.
