Kathmandu – Nepal A cricket team, currently on a tour of India, will face the Assam Cricket Association in the fourth T20 match today.
This fourth match will also be played under the day-night format. The game between Nepal A and Assam will take place at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati, starting at 5 PM. In the five-match T20 series, Nepal A currently leads 2-1. After losing the first match, Nepal A bounced back with two consecutive wins.
In the third match held on Saturday, Nepal A secured a 9-run victory. After losing the toss and batting first, Nepal posted 196 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the full 20 overs.
Sandeep Jora played a key role, scoring a half-century with 74 runs off 48 balls. In response, Assam was bowled out for 187 runs in their 20 overs.
According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Nepal A will also play the final match of the series tomorrow under the day-night format. Nepal A serves as the backup squad for the national cricket team.
