Kathmandu – Nepali national team member Nandan Yadav will miss the remaining matches of the ongoing Tri-Nation T20 Series in Scotland.
Yadav sustained an injury to his index finger while bowling the final over in the match against the Netherlands, which has ruled him out of the rest of the tournament. In the second match, Basir Ahmad replaced him in the playing XI.
Earlier, two other Nepali bowlers, Sompal Kami and Gulshan Jha, had already been ruled out due to injuries.
According to team manager Madhav Karmacharya, Nandan has suffered a nail injury on his index finger and will need 15 to 20 days of rest.
Sompal Kami has an injury in his hand, which is expected to take at least 5 weeks to heal. Gulshan Jha, on the other hand, is experiencing a knee problem.
