NPL: Janakpur Opts to Bat After Winning the Toss

Kathmandu – In the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) in the capital, Lumbini Lions and Janakpur Bolts are currently facing each other.

 

At the Kirtipur grounds, Janakpur won the toss and chose to bat first. Lumbini, who have collected six points from six matches, desperately need a win to reach the playoffs. If Lumbini win, Pokhara Avengers, Chitwan Rhinos, and Janakpur will be eliminated from playoff contention. However, if Janakpur wins, the points table will become highly competitive. Janakpur currently has only two points from five matches, and a win would take them to four.
