Nepal to Bat First, Makes Three Changes Against Netherlands

Kathmandu – In the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 match against the Netherlands, Nepal lost the toss and will bat first.

Due to injuries, Sompal Kami and Gulshan Jha have been ruled out of the remaining matches. They have been replaced by Nandan Yadav and Basir Ahmad in the playing XI. Additionally, opening batter Anil Sah comes in place of Aasif Sheikh. Today marks Nandan Yadav’s debut for Nepal.

After defeating the Netherlands by 5 wickets in the previous encounter, Nepal is aiming for a second consecutive victory. Having won two of the three matches in the series, Nepal looks to end the series on a high note with a win today.

Nepal began the series with a thrilling 1-wicket win over Scotland, followed by a 5-wicket victory against the Netherlands. However, they lost the third match against Scotland by just 2 runs. Today, they seek their third win of the series.

On the other hand, the Netherlands is still searching for their first win in the series. They lost to Nepal in the first match and suffered a 44-run defeat against Scotland in the second.
