Sudurpashchim Set a Target of 148 Runs for Biratnagar

Kathmandu – Sudurpashchim Royals have set a target of 148 runs for Biratnagar Kings.

 

After losing the toss and being sent in to bat first, Sudurpashchim scored 147 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

 

For Sudurpashchim, Arif Sheikh top-scored with an unbeaten 45 runs. Ishan Pandey made 38, Krish Brone 24, captain Dipendra Singh Airee 19, Binod Bhandari 15, Deepak Bohora 3, and Harmit Singh was out for a duck.

 

For Biratnagar, captain Sandeep Lamichhane took the highest number of wickets with three, while Pratish GC took two and Basir Ahmad claimed one.

 

Sudurpashchim, who remain unbeaten and have accumulated 12 points from six matches, have already secured a spot in the first qualifier and are under no pressure. Biratnagar, with eight points and already in the playoffs, need a win today in order to play in the first qualifier.

 

If Biratnagar win with a good run rate, they will join Sudurpashchim in the first qualifier. Otherwise, they will have to play the eliminator against Lumbini Lions. After that, Sudurpashchim will face Kathmandu Gorkhas in the first qualifier.
