Gandaki Province Second Women’s T20 Cricket: Syangja Close to Title After Big Win

Pokhara – Syangja moved closer to the title in the ongoing Gandaki Province Second Women’s T20 Cricket Tournament after defeating Nawalpur by 8 wickets in today’s match.

Syangja’s win was highlighted by an excellent bowling performance from Simana KC, who took 4 wickets for just 8 runs in 3.3 overs, including a maiden over. She was named Player of the Match.

Syangja won the toss and opted to bowl first, successfully bowling out Nawalpur for just 56 runs in 15.3 overs. Niruta GT also contributed with the ball, picking up 2 wickets for Syangja.

Chasing a modest target of 57 runs, Syangja achieved victory in just 8.4 overs, losing only 2 wickets.

For Nawalpur, Ayusha Chapagai and Liza Gurung each took one wicket.
