Kathmandu – The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has been honored with the ‘Digital Fan Engagement of the Year’ award by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the second consecutive year.
The award was presented during the ICC’s annual global conference held in Singapore. Nepal had previously won the same award last year as well, marking back-to-back recognition for its strong digital presence.
The award was received by CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, Secretary Paras Khadka, and Treasurer Padam Khadka from ICC Chairman Jay Shah during the ceremony.
The ICC awarded Nepal based on the remarkable support and engagement shown by Nepali fans through social media platforms and other digital channels, highlighting the nation’s passionate cricket fan base and growing digital footprint in the sport.
