Nepal Advances to ACC U-16 East Zone Cup Final After Defeating Malaysia

Kathmandu – Nepal has secured a place in the final of the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup after a commanding 9-wicket victory over Malaysia in Thursday’s semifinal match.

Chasing a modest target of 91 runs set by Malaysia, Nepal comfortably reached the target in just 11.4 overs with the loss of only one wicket. Parimardhan Yadav led the charge with an unbeaten half-century, scoring 59 runs off 35 balls. Shivansh Bajgain supported him well with an unbeaten 23 runs.

Earlier, after winning the toss, Nepal invited Malaysia to bat first. Malaysia was bowled out for just 90 runs in 43.1 overs.

With this win, Nepal is now one step away from the title and will face the winner of the match between Hong Kong and Singapore in the final.
