Kathmandu – Nepal has been set a target of 178 runs in their first match of the ongoing Top End T20 Series being held in Northern Territory, Australia.
Losing the toss, Nepal was invited to bowl first. Northern Territory (NT) scored 177 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. For NT, captain and opener D’Arcy Short top-scored with a half-century, making 51 runs. Similarly, Tom Andrews remained unbeaten on 32 runs.
For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane took 3 wickets, conceding 38 runs in his 4 overs. Shahab Alam claimed 2 wickets for 32 runs, while Gulshan Jha, Dipendra Singh Airee, and captain Rohit Paudel took one wicket each.
