West Indies Defeat Pakistan to Clinch ODI Series 2-1

Kathmandu – In the third and final ODI held in Trinidad, West Indies defeated Pakistan by a massive 202 runs, bowling them out for just 92 runs. With this dominant win, the home team secured the ODI series 2-1 and registered a historic victory on Tuesday.

Chasing a target of 295 runs, Pakistan’s batting lineup collapsed as none of the batters were able to settle at the crease.

Captain Babar Azam continued his lean patch, having failed to score a century in his last 72 international innings. He was dismissed for just 9 runs in this match.

Five Pakistani batters — Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Rizwan, Hasan Ali, and Abrar Ahmed — failed to open their accounts.

West Indies’ Jayden Seales delivered a remarkable performance, taking 6 wickets for just 18 runs in 7.2 overs. Gudakesh Motie claimed 2 wickets, while Roston Chase took 1.

Bowling out Pakistan in just 29.2 overs, West Indies secured their first bilateral ODI series win against Pakistan since 1991.
