India vs England 5th Test Enters Thrilling Final Day

Kathmandu – The fifth Test match between India and England has reached a thrilling climax as the game heads into the final day, following rain interruptions on Day 4.

With just one day remaining, England is 35 runs away from victory, while India needs 4 wickets to win. Chasing a target of 374 runs, England ended Day 4 on 339/6.

For England, Harry Brook scored 111 runs and Joe Root made 105, pushing their team close to the target. However, India bounced back strongly, dismissing both set batsmen.

In bowling, Prasidh Krishna took 3 wickets, Mohammed Siraj claimed 2, and Akash Deep picked up 1 wicket for India.

Earlier in the match, India posted 224 runs in their first innings, while England replied with 247 runs. In the second innings, India scored 396, setting England a challenging target of 374.

England currently leads the series 2–1, and the outcome of this final Test will determine if they seal the series or India levels it.
