India Sets 374-Run Target for England in Fifth Test

Kathmandu – India has set a target of 374 runs for England in the fifth Test match.

After scoring 396 runs in their second innings and being all out, India took a lead of 373 runs over England. For India, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 118 runs, Akash Deep made 66, while Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar contributed 53 runs each, and Dhruv Jurel added 34 runs.

Among England’s bowlers, Josh Tongue took 5 wickets, while Gus Atkinson claimed 3, and Jamie Overton took 2 wickets.

Earlier, India had scored 224 runs in their first innings, while England posted 247 runs in their first innings.

At the end of Day 3, England were 50 for 1 in their second innings, still needing 324 runs to win.
