How Many Players Registered for NPL?

Kathmandu – A total of 458 Nepali players have registered to participate in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

The player registration process was conducted by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) from July 12 to 22. All registered player details have been shared with the eight franchise teams participating in the league.

The final list of players eligible for the auction will be prepared based on the criteria set by CAN’s technical committee and the preferred player list submitted by the franchises.

The mini player auction is scheduled to take place on Shrawan 24 (August 8, 2025). This auction is part of the preparations for the second edition of the NPL, the first edition of which was held in 2022.
