Kathmandu – Chitwan Rhinos have updated their logo ahead of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
“In last season’s logo, the word ‘Chitwan’ was placed at the forefront, focusing on the identity of the city. However, this time, the logo prominently features the ‘Rhino’ (Gainda), a symbol that resonates deeply with both the spirit of our team and the emotions of our fans,” stated the team in a press release on Wednesday.
“The new logo aims to reflect the essence of the Rhinos and the preference of our fans more clearly. Now, both the fans and the symbol of the rhino will take center stage. The sentiment remains the same, but the logo expresses the team’s spirit more vividly,” said Chitwan Rhinos chairman Ayush Neupane.
In the first edition, Chitwan Rhinos finished fourth after losing to Karnali Yaks. For the second edition, they have retained captain and marquee player Kushal Malla, along with Rijan Dhakal, Kamal Singh Airee, Deepak Bohora, Amar Singh Rautela, and Gautam KC.
