Second Season of Nepal Premier League Likely to Air on Star Sports

Kathmandu – Former captain of the Nepal national cricket team and current official of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Paras Khadka, has hinted that the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) is also likely to be broadcast on Star Sports.

In an interview with Nepal Press Online, Khadka stated that Star Sports will continue to serve as a global broadcasting platform for the upcoming season, while discussions are ongoing to ensure local broadcasting as well.

“In the next edition, we will have Star Sports as our international global platform, and we are also in talks for local broadcasting,” said Khadka.

The first edition, held earlier this year, was also aired on Star Sports Network, which played a significant role in increasing the international reach of Nepali cricket. Khadka further indicated that the cricket governing body is working to expand broadcasting rights and improve market management for the upcoming edition.
