Kathmandu – Bangladesh has clinched the T20I series against visiting team Pakistan.
On Tuesday, Bangladesh won the second T20I by 8 runs, sealing the three-match series. Chasing a target of 134 runs, Pakistan was all out for 125 in 19.2 overs.
Although Faheem Ashraf scored a half-century, Pakistan failed to chase the target due to the poor performance of the top-order batters.
For Bangladesh, Shariful Islam took 3 wickets, Mehidy Hasan picked up 2, while Mustafizur Rahman and Rishad Hossain took 1 wicket each.
Earlier, after losing the toss, Bangladesh batted first and was bowled out for 133 runs in 20 overs at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium. For Pakistan, Salman Mirza, Ahmed Daniyal, and Abbas Afridi took 2 wickets each, while Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz took 1 apiece.
Bangladesh now leads the series 2–0 ahead of the final match.
