Lumbini Lions Unveil New Logo

Kathmandu – Nepal Premier League (NPL) team Lumbini Lions has unveiled its new logo.

Lumbini revealed its new logo on Monday through social media. The new logo incorporates elements that reflect Nepali identity, including the Maya Devi Temple—the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the Ashokan Pillar, and Nepal’s national flag.

Under the captaincy of Nepal national team captain Rohit Kumar Paudel, Lumbini was unable to perform as expected in the first edition. The team won only 1 out of 7 matches and finished at the bottom of the points table.

For the second edition, Lumbini has retained Rohit, Vivek Yadav, Tilak Raj Bhandari, Abhishek Gautam, Sandeep Jora, and Dinesh Adhikari.
