Pokhara – In a thrilling T20 encounter, Everest Cricket Club secured a commanding 22-run victory over RK Victorian’s, delivering a solid performance with both bat and ball.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Everest posted 109 runs in 19.5 overs. Their innings saw some key contributions, with Krishna Pandit scoring 18, Abhishek Adhikari 16, Sabhauddin Ansari 14, Nirajan Thakur 13, Samullah Alam 11, and Niyaz Ahmed 10. No other batter managed to reach double figures.
For RK Victorian’s, the bowling unit performed well. Laxman Chhetri took 3 wickets, while Bishwas Parajuli, Alik Shrestha, and Arjun Budhathoki grabbed 2 wickets each. Anjan KC also took 1 wicket.
In response, RK Victorian’s batting lineup crumbled under pressure, getting bowled out for 87 runs in 16.1 overs. Only Raju Khanal (17), Kabin Sapkota (13), and Bishwas Parajuli (10) managed to reach double-digit scores.
Everest’s bowlers were outstanding throughout the innings. Okil Miya led the way with 4 wickets, while Niyaz Ahmed and Samullah Alam took 2 wickets each. Saurav Siddiqui and Abhishek Adhikari contributed with 1 wicket apiece.
