Pokhara – In a competitive T20 match, DCC Rebels secured an exciting 15-run victory over Fishtail Cricket Club, driven by disciplined bowling and a half-century from Jiban Khatri.
After winning the toss, DCC Rebels elected to bat first and posted 122 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Jiban Khatri anchored the innings with a vital knock of 50 runs. Dinesh Chhetri, Roshan, and Suwarna Khadka contributed 12 runs each, while Bijay BK added 15 runs.
For Fishtail, Anish Rout, Rythm, and Sagar Patel each took 2 wickets, while Islam Noor claimed one wicket.
In reply, Fishtail could only manage 107 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs, falling short by 15 runs. Their innings revolved around Anil Gurung, who scored a fighting 45 runs. Deepesh Khatri (10) and Sumit Shrestha (18) were the only other batters to reach double digits.
DCC Rebels’ bowlers showcased excellent control and discipline. Roshan took 2 wickets for 28 runs, while Suwarna Khadka, Pushkar, Anish GC, and Misson BK each took one wicket to help secure the win.
