Kathmandu – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the construction of the Kirtipur Cricket Stadium has reached its final phase. Sharing an update on social media today, he mentioned that although the contractor company failed to complete the construction within the stipulated time, the work is now progressing with penalties being imposed.
“Despite working in three shifts, delays may have occurred due to the rainy season and other technical reasons. However, the government has now implemented a system of rewards and penalties to ensure results and maintain order in such projects, which is a positive initiative,” Prime Minister Oli wrote.
He added, “We are also working to enforce this approach in other ongoing government construction projects.”
