NPL 2 – Player Registration Open for Auction

Kathmandu – Player registration for the mini auction of the second edition of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL) is now open.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) issued a press release on Saturday announcing the opening of registration. According to CAN, players who have been released from the eight NPL teams, as well as new players, are eligible to register.

Players can register themselves under any of the A, B, or C categories. The registration deadline is Shrawan 6 (approximately July 21, 2025). A registration fee of NPR 1,000 will be charged.

According to CAN’s annual calendar, the NPL mini auction is scheduled to be held in August. While the exact dates for the league haven’t been finalized, November and December are being considered as the potential window for the tournament.
