Janakpur Bolts Retain 7 Players Including Aasif Sheikh for NPL 2025

Kathmandu – Defending champions Janakpur Bolts have retained seven players, including star wicketkeeper-batsman Aasif Sheikh, for the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025 season.

The retained players include last season’s captain Anil Sah, Subash Khakurel, Kishore Mahato, Lalit Rajbanshi, Tul Bahadur Thapa Magar, and Rupesh Singh alongside Aasif Sheikh.

Rupesh Singh, who missed the previous season due to injury, had been replaced by Mayan Yadav at the time. Rupesh has since made his T20I debut for Nepal’s senior national team.

Other franchises—Chitwan Rhinos, Sudurpaschim Royals, Pokhara Avengers, Kathmandu Gorkhas, Lumbini Lions, and Karnali Yaks—have already announced their retention lists.
