Janakpur Bolts: Aasif Sheikh Retained as Marquee Player

Kathmandu – Janakpur Bolts have retained Aasif Sheikh as their marquee player for the 2025 edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket tournament.

On Wednesday, the franchise announced via social media that Aasif would continue in the marquee player role.

Janakpur Bolts also stated that they will release the list of other retained players on Thursday.

In the previous season, Anil Sah captained the team, while other notable players included Subash Khakurel, Sher Malla, Kishore Mahato, Lalit Rajbanshi, Tul Bahadur Thapa Magar, Hemant Dhami, Araniko Yadav, Aakash Tripathi, Bishal Sushling, and Mayan Yadav. The upcoming retention list will be drawn from this pool of players.

Janakpur Bolts were also the inaugural champions of the Nepal Premier League.
