Pokhara Avengers Announce List of Retained Players

Kathmandu – Pokhara Avengers have announced the list of retained players for the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The franchise made the retention list public through social media on Sunday.

Earlier, Pokhara had hinted at retaining their marquee player and captain from last season, Kushal Bhurtel. Along with him, the team has retained Dinesh Kharel, Bipin Khatri, Sagar Dhakal, Kiran Thagunna, Akash Chand, and Tritraj Das.

For the second season of the NPL, franchises are allowed to retain six players excluding the marquee player. While three other teams have retained only six players including their marquee, Pokhara has retained six players in addition to their marquee, keeping their core squad intact.
