Sudurpashchim Provincial U-19 Women’s Cricket Begins Today

Kathmandu- The Sudurpashchim Province-level U-19 Women’s Cricket Tournament is set to begin today (Thursday) in Kathmandu. The competition is being organized by the Provincial Sports Council and will take place at the Fapla Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi.

According to Lok Bahadur Khadka, Member-Secretary of the Council, the tournament will be held in the T20 format with eight teams divided into two groups.

The opening match will be played between Kailali and Kanchanpur.

The winner of the tournament will receive a cash prize of NPR 200,000, while the runner-up will receive NPR 100,000, along with trophies and medals. The teams finishing in third and fourth place will each receive NPR 50,000.

Additionally, awards will be presented in various individual categories, including Best Player, Best Batter, and Best Bowler.
