Bridge-11 win The Bridge Cricket Cup title

Kathmandu – Bridge-11 have clinched the title of The Bridge Cricket Cup. In the second friendly match held at the Devizes Cricket Club ground in Wiltshire, Bridge-11, led by former Nepal national team captain Sandeep Lamichhane, defeated Devizes Cricket Club by 127 runs to claim the title.

After losing the toss in London and being put in to bat first, Bridge-11 posted a strong total. Myani Gurung scored a half-century with 51 runs, while Dibas Giri contributed 62 runs and captain Lamichhane added 54 runs.

For Devizes, George Dunford, Cameron Lee, and Al Gav took 2 wickets each.

Chasing a target of 307 runs, Devizes Cricket Club’s Thomas Andrew scored a brilliant century, making 101 runs, while Luke Hamblin contributed 10 runs off 39 balls.
