Nepal Registers Dominant Victory Over Japan

Kathmandu –  Nepal secured a commanding 9-wicket win over Japan in the ongoing ACC Men’s U-16 East Zone One Day Cricket Tournament being held in Malaysia.

Chasing a modest target of 81 runs set by Japan, Nepal reached the total in just 14.2 overs, losing only one wicket.

In the match played on Tuesday morning, Prasiddha Jaisi remained unbeaten on 33 runs, while Shivansh Bajgain scored an unbeaten 38. Prasiddha struck 3 fours in his 37-ball innings, and Shivansh hit 7 boundaries in his 42-ball knock.

The only batter to be dismissed was opener Jay Thapa, who was caught for just 1 run.

For the second wicket, opener Prasiddha Jaisi and wicketkeeper Shivansh Bajgain shared an unbeaten 76-run partnership off 69 balls, guiding Nepal comfortably to victory.
