Nepal U-16 Team Bids Farewell for ACC U-16 East Zone Cup

Kathmandu – The Nepal U-16 cricket team has officially been given a farewell ahead of their participation in the ACC Men’s U-16 East Zone Cup, which begins this Sunday in Malaysia.

The young Rhinos  are set to represent Nepal in the tournament, where they are placed in Group A alongside Singapore, Indonesia, Bhutan, and Japan. Nepal will kick off their campaign with a match against Singapore.

Led by captain Bipin Prasad Sharma and vice-captain Suryashum Koirala, the 14-member squad was selected based on performances in the T.B. Shah Memorial U-16 National Cricket Tournament, recently held in Surkhet.

Nepal enters the tournament as the defending champion, having won all three previous editions, and aims to retain the title this time as well.
