Kathmandu – In the final match of the ongoing Tri-Nation T20 International Series in Scotland, Nepal will take on the host nation Scotland today. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:45 PM (Nepali time) in Glasgow.
So far in the series, Nepal has won two matches, while Scotland has won only one. Scotland began the tournament with a win over the Netherlands but then lost to both Nepal and the Netherlands.
Nepal’s journey has been the opposite: they lost their opening match to the Netherlands in a Super Over but bounced back strongly with wins over Scotland and again over the Netherlands on Thursday.
Historically, Nepal and Scotland have faced each other only twice in the T20 format, with one win each. In official T20 Internationals, Tuesday’s match was their first-ever encounter, which Nepal won.
In the previous ODI series of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, Nepal had a strong record, winning three out of four matches against Scotland.
Nepal will look to wrap up the T20I series on a high note with a win today, aiming to finish as undisputed champions of the tournament.
