Kathmandu – Six Nepali cricketers, including leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, went unsold in the Big Bash League (BBL) auction held today in Australia.
Despite being listed in the draft for the upcoming season, no BBL franchise showed interest in any of the Nepali players, resulting in all of them going unsold.
The draft featured Sandeep Lamichhane, Dev Khanal, Sher Malla, Bipin Sharma, Aarif Sheikh, and Arjun Saud. Among them, Sandeep is the only one with previous BBL experience.
With none of the players selected, Nepal will not have any representation in the upcoming BBL season.
