Kushal’s Century Powers Nepal to 276-Run Target Against Malaysia

Kathmandu – Nepal have set a target of 276 runs for Malaysia in the Asian Games Qualifiers.

Batting first in the match being played in Singapore, Nepal posted a formidable 275/7 in their allotted overs.

Opening batter Kushal Bhurtel starred with a blistering 126-run innings. With this knock, he became the first Nepali player to score back-to-back T20 International centuries. It was also the third T20I century of his career.

Meanwhile, Aasif Sheikh contributed 68 runs, while captain Dipendra Singh Airee scored 31 runs.

Other contributors included Sandeep Jora with 15 runs, Lokesh Bam with 10, Kushal Malla with 9, Karan KC with 7, and Sompal Kami with 1 run. Rohit Paudel was dismissed without scoring.

Malaysia now need 276 runs to win the match.
