The rain that has been falling across Nepal since last evening has affected the matches on the first day of PM Cup 2082. The scheduled match between Koshi and Madhesh Province in Janakpur was abandoned without a toss. Similarly, at Narayani Cricket Ground in Birgunj, Parsa, rain started shortly after the match began. The game between Lumbini Province and Karnali Province was underway in Parsa. Before the rain started, Karnali had scored 20 runs without losing any wickets after 7 overs.
Since both matches could not proceed due to rain, all four teams shared the points. Each team receives 1 point.
Tomorrow, two matches are scheduled in the tournament. Both will be held in Kathmandu. The match between Army and Police will take place at the Lower Mulpani Cricket Ground, while Bagmati and APF will face off each other at the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground.
