Nepal and Scotland Face Off in Final Group Match

Kathmandu – Nepal will take on Scotland today in their final match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and will begin at 7:15 PM Nepali time.

With England and the West Indies already confirmed as the two teams advancing to the Super 8 from Group C, today’s match will be a formality for both sides.

However, both teams will be aiming to finish the tournament on a winning note.

Nepal suffered a narrow four-run defeat to England in their opening match. They then lost to debutant Italy in the second game and were defeated by nine wickets by the West Indies in their third match.

Despite the consecutive losses, the team led by captain Rohit Paudel will look to secure a victory in their final game and end the tournament on a positive note. Nepal are aiming to register their first World Cup win in 12 years.

Scotland began their campaign with a 35-run loss to the West Indies. They bounced back strongly with a 73-run victory over Italy but were later defeated by five wickets against England. Scotland’s playoff hopes ended after England beat Italy on Monday.

Nepal and Scotland have faced each other twice in T20 internationals so far, with both teams winning one match each.
