RCB to Provide ₹10 Lakh Each to Families of Victims in Bengaluru Tragedy

Kathmandu – Royal Challengers Bengaluru(RCB) has announced financial support of ₹10 lakh (INR) each to the families of the 11 individuals who tragically lost their lives in the incident that occurred on Wednesday in Bengaluru.

Demonstrating compassion and solidarity with their fans, the franchise also revealed plans to establish a relief fund named ‘RCB Cares’, which will assist in the medical treatment of those injured during the incident.

In an official statement issued on Tuesday, RCB said, “This unfortunate tragedy has deeply saddened the entire RCB family. We stand in solidarity with the affected families and are announcing this support as a token of our commitment.”

The tragedy unfolded during a victory celebration organized after RCB’s historic IPL title win—its first in 18 years. A stampede broke out during the celebrations, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries.

Local authorities and police are currently investigating the incident.
