Royal Challengers Reach the WPL Final

Kathmandu- Royal Challengers Bengaluru have secured a place in the final of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). In a crucial match played on Thursday, RCB defeated UP Warriorz by 8 wickets to seal their spot in the final while staying at the top of the points table.

Chasing a target of 144 runs set by UP Warriorz, RCB completed the chase in just 13.1 overs, losing only two wickets. Grace Harris played a blistering innings, scoring 75 runs off just 37 balls, while captain Smriti Mandhana remained unbeaten on 54 runs to guide the team to victory.

With the ball, Nadine de Klerk delivered an excellent performance, picking up four wickets. With this win, RCB have accumulated 12 points from 8 matches and sit at the top of the table. They will now play directly in the final scheduled for February 5.

In today’s match, Mumbai Indians will face Gujarat Giants, which will determine the playoff equation. Delhi Capitals are still in contention, while UP Warriorz have been eliminated from the tournament.
