ACC U-19 Asia Cup Kicks Off in UAE, Nepal to Face Sri Lanka in Opening Match

Kathmandu – The ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup officially begins today in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), featuring eight participating nations vying for the regional title.

The opening day will see India playing hosts UAE, while Pakistan take on Malaysia in their first group-stage encounters.

The Nepali U-19 cricket team has already arrived in the UAE and completed its preparations for the tournament.

Nepal will begin its campaign tomorrow with a match against Sri Lanka. The team will then face Bangladesh on December 14 before playing its final group match against Afghanistan on December 17.

All of Nepal’s matches are scheduled to be held at the Sevens Stadium.

The tournament is divided into two groups:

Group A: India, Pakistan, UAE, Malaysia

Group B: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Nepal

The top two teams from each group will progress to the semifinals. The championship clash is set for December 21.
