ACC U–19 Premier Cup: Nepal Playing for the Title

Kathmandu – Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are competing for the title of the ongoing ACC Men’s U–19 Premier Cup Cricket in the UAE.

In the final being held at the Karwan Cricket Ground in Ajman, UAE, Nepal won the toss and chose to field first. Nepal advanced close to the title by defeating Malaysia by 9 wickets in the semifinals. Similarly, the UAE secured their place in the final by beating Oman by 8 wickets.

With both teams reaching the final, Nepal and the UAE have also qualified for the upcoming Asia Cup. According to the tournament rules, the teams that reach the final directly qualify for the Asia Cup.

Likewise, the teams defeated in the semifinals will compete for third place. The team securing third place will also qualify for the Asia Cup. The third-place match between Malaysia and Oman will be played today. A total of 14 teams participated in the ACC Men’s U–19 Premier Cup. The U–19 Asia Cup will be held this December in the UAE.
